5 Days Gorilla & Chimp Tracking Safari


Day 1: Travel from kampala to Kibale National Park
Safari starts with pick from the Entebbe airport by our company tour guide. Briefing about your safari and transfer to Kibale National park home of the chimpanzees. Arriving Fort portal in time for your lunch and check into your hotel. In the afternoon, go for nature walk to Amabeere ganyina mwiru, visit the king’s palace among. Dinner and overnight at the Ndali Lodge, Primates Lodge.

Day 2: Chimpanzee tracking nature walk in Bigodi wetland sanctuary
In the morning after your breakfast, you will go for chimpanzee tracking in Kibale forest National Park, where you will see the chimps jumping on trees which will last until mid day. You will have lunch at your lodge and in the afternoon, go for a nature walk in Bigodi wetland sanctuary, where you will encounter a variety of birds and animals. Dinner and overnight stay at Kibale primates Lodge, Mountains of the moon hotel.

Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable National Park.
Today, have your breakfast at leisure and later set off for Bwindi National. Continue the scenic drive to Kabale town, also known as the "Switzerland of Africa". Later transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla mist camp, Gorilla Lodge.

Day 4: Gorilla tracking and community walk.
After an early breakfast, you will assemble at the park headquarters for briefing from the park rangers about the dos and don'ts on gorillas. Proceed for the memorable adventure in the forest, an activity that may take 2-6 hours depending on the movement of the animals. Meet and stay with the animals for a maximum of one hour, then descend to the park headquarters and then to your Lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the evening, you may go for community walk in the nearby community. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla Mist Camp, Wagtail Camp.

Day 5: Transfer back to Kampala
After a heavy breakfast transfer back to Kampala driving through the scenic Kigezi highlands commonly known as” the Switzerland of Africa”. You will arrive in Kampala in the afternoon ready to catch your flight back home.
